one baaaad dunes trip!

the week before memorial we went for an overnighter at the dunes with krista, mike and mike's one cousin. it certainly wasn't a successful trip by my standards. to meet my standards, during the course of the trip a) no one gets hurt; or b) all 4-wheelers (and other vehicles for that matter) we take are in good working order the whole time, including when we leave. well, no one got seriously hurt (thank goodness because that's the most important thing!)...at least no one in our camp. some girl laid on the side of sand mountain after an accident for at least an hour before the EMT came, but she wasn't too seriously hurt so i guess it's okay??? anyways, krista's bike just hasn't been working right for a long time so, that's always a big pain in the arse. and then, brandon's back paddle tire blew out and of course, we had not brought a spare. so, that ended the trip pretty quick. at least it was not very long before we would have gone home anyways. plusssss, mike got a flat on his truck. good thing he had a spare!
it was our first time putting up our new tent..here are brandon and mike attempting to do so...it took them awhile to figure out how it was supposed to go. funny story: we traded mike 4-wheeler tires for this tent so, it was his and he probably put it together many times before this!! needless to say, he finally remembered how it goes. i'm hoping that next time it doesn't take as long:) thanks guys for spending the time putting together our little hut:)

well, nothing too major happened, just a serious of annoying events is all. here's to many more trips down there!!
